Articles of Faith

We believe there is only one God who has manifested Himself to the world in various forms throughout the ages. He has especially revealed Himself as Father in the creation of the universe, as Son in the redemption of humanity, and as the Holy Spirit pouring out in the hearts of believers.

We believe and uphold the principles given at the birth of the church in the upper room that we must be baptised in water in the name of Jesus Christ as recorded in Acts 2 vs 38. We also believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost which is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave utterance Act 2 vs 4

We believe that the Church, composed of the dead in Christ and the faithful living on earth at the time of the Rapture, will be lifted up to meet the Lord in the air and to take part in the wedding feast of the Lamb of God. In order to be saved we must live Godly and soberly in this present world which will make us eligible for the Rapture which is the caught up of the saints as recorded in 1st Thessalonians 4 vs 16 – 18.

We believe that there will be a literal resurrection of the dead in Christ and that they will be given a glorified and spiritual body in which they will live forever in the presence of the Lord (John 5:29; Acts 24:15; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; Job 19:25-27; Psalms 17:15; I Corinthians 15:35- 54). Christians who are living when Christ comes to take up His Church will likewise be transformed and taken to live forever in glory in the New Jerusalem (1 Thessalonians 4:18;

We endorse fasting and continuous pray to strengthen the spiritual man and glorify God.

We endorse the Lord’s Supper whereby members come together at regular intervals for the spiritual communion known as the ‘Lord’s Supper’. This is where unleavened bread together with wine is given to the saints who participates in the Upper room experience which Jesus told his disciples that as often as you do this it has the approval of God. Matthews 26 vs 26-28.

We believe in the washing of our brethren’s feet by each other as was done at the Lord’s Supper where Jesus washed the feet of the disciples to demonstrate humility. John 13 vs 4-16

We believe that the Bible teaches us to obtain the funds necessary to carry out the work of the Lord is that of tithes and offerings. The payment of tithes will also assist the individual in the removal of family curses that have been passed through the generations as set out in Malachi 3:7-11

We believe in the ‘Five Fold Ministry’ spoken about by Jesus Christ in Mark 16 vs 15-18 where five distinct area outlined by Jesus Christ must be met by the born again believer.  In my name they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them, they shall lay had on the sick and they shall recover.

We also believe that the nine spiritual gifts which is available to the church by God should be vigorously sought after by individuals and the church as a whole. 1st Corinthians 12 vs 7-10
